A few days ago I addressed a "Citizen's Comment" to the Financial Times of which I enclose a copy. The opinion I express in that note is not just my own but is shared by millions of Europeans, most probably including yourself. The moral degradation in the Middle East today is so obscene that keeping silent about it is a dishonor and dishonors the people who put you in office. It is useless to shout at the local parties. They are not the main culprit. The main culprit is the United States government which is enslaved by a hugely powerful minority. What our statesmen should do now is to request the expulsion of the U.S. from the United Nations and to ignore its veto right in the Security Council. Europe must try to put some order and morality into world affairs. If this is not done, the consequences might mean our own holocaust. Yours respectfully, John Lessek

Europa muss versuchen, ein bisschen Ordnung und Moral in die Welt-Angelegenheiten zu bringen. Wenn das nicht getan wird, könnte die Konsequenz unser eigenes grosses Unheil sein.
